Design Iterations

Mark IV is the fourth iteration of the lattice frame design. Each iteration refined electrode positioning, contact pressure distribution, and cable routing. The 3D-printed lattice allows precise electrode placement matching the 10-20 system while accommodating individual head geometry.

The lattice configuration tool at /hardware/lattice-configuration/ visualizes electrode positions and maps them to qubit assignments for the A-Gate circuit.

Status

Hardware is built and functional. Awaiting first recording session. No data has been collected yet — all current results use the CHB-MIT public dataset.

First Mark IV recording will provide an independent validation dataset with controlled conditions — known electrode impedances, consistent montage, and the ability to record both EEG and behavioral markers simultaneously.
